Q. A friend of mine is trying to find a cute way to ask his girlfriend to homecoming...any suggestions?

A. I got asked to homecoming like a 3 days ago. and what my boyfriend did was, painted words on rocks, then put them in a giant bucket of water and froze it. Then he dropped it off at my house one night. He wrote on a note that said I had to wait for it to melt, but I took it out in the yard the next morning and smashed the ice with hammers. The catch was, some of the rocks had words on them that didn't fit into the sentence "Will you go to homecoming with me?" There were words like "LOVE" and "CAT" in there too. It was funny. I liked it xoxox And the way i answered it was... i got one tootsie roll and wrote on its paper, yes i will, then rolled the tootsie back up and put it with a whole bunch of other tootsie rolls, and had him eat it… [cont.]

Today my friends sister made me late 3 times to my first class and i got a detention for monday. homecoming game is against 1 of r schools rivals! exciting! our dance theme is dancing at the cinema! but when i told my mom about the detention, she said i mite not go to either homecoming events! A. I am so sorry! and I don't understand why you can't talk to the dean and explain how your carpool is always late and slow! I mean at my school they let carpool come in late because of the driver. I mean you can't give detention to the driver but you can defenitly get away with it. I mean if you're late because you take forever to change, then that's different. What is a good Homecoming Dance theme to attract both boys and girls?
Q. At my school the homecoming dance is planned by seniors and this is where most of the money for prom comes from. I need a good theme that everybody will like. The theme should be easy to make an assembly script out of. I really need a unique idea and that aren't to cliche.

Technically speaking, homecoming in the dance after the last home football game of the season, and is for all grades, while prom is strictly for seniors and is at the end of the senior year (although some schools have proms for other grades). Homecoming is less formal, so girls generally wear short-to-knee-length fancy dresses and heels and guys wear suits or dress pants and a dress shirt. At prom, you can wear short or floor length dresses with heels, and guys wear suits or tuxes. Other than the length of dresses, they're basically the same.

Q. I'm pear-shaped. Big butt, big thighs, kinda big stomach, and practically no boobs. Our homecoming dance is on halloween, so if you have any suggestions for that (with a dress, obviously) it would be nice. And cheaper is always better. :) Thank you!

A. I think you should wear a long dress that goes down to your ankles. Wear granny panties or one of those undies that tighten up your figure on the bottom. The combination of those with the dress will make your bottom half appear slimmer but still curvy and beautiful. (: Make sure the color on the bottom is one single flat color. Too many colors or designs can make it seem wide. Wear something big on top. Try to find a dress with sequins or flowers or something by the boob, so it'll help balance out your top and bottom. If you have long hair, curl your hair and let it loose. It'll also help balance out your frame. (: If I find a good dress, I will edit this post. I hope this helps! Good luck.

A. i would suggest a semi-formal something like a dress-down-suit. Wear something so you can keep your jacket off most of the time and still look good. It's not like a senior prom event, but its usually pretty classy.

Q. I go to a catholic school, and my dad thinks that I'm supposed to dress into one of those suits that take a week to get tailored, even though the admission for one student was $7.50. For a private school, what would be the appropriate attire for a homecoming dance? Unless I know, my dad will keep fussing at me.
